The Farmhouse Oliodivino is located in one of the Vallesina : Monteroberto.

Here are some interesting signs of this ancient town. The legend speaks of Robert Guiscard as regards the origin of the castle of Monte Roberto. Here he seems to have spent his teenage years, the Emperor Frederick II. In more certain the story tells us the first mention of Monteroberto in a document of 1079: a small town whose name suggests a secular lord, a lord of the place, probably named Robert Lombard origins. Monteroberto was a cluster building and a district that were part of the territory of Castelbellino, then Morro Panipat. Only towards the middle of the thirteenth century we have the transformation into a real castle.

We at Turismo Marche remember you that in the territory of Monte Roberto is to be located, near the Abbey of St. Apollinaris, the ancient city Planina mentioned by Pliny the Elder. It 'important to say that the ruins of a certain size were visible up to seven or eight hundred : so Noceto district, in 1881, was found a necropolis Piceno (VI century BC), the finds were unearthed at that time are now preserved in the National Archaeological Museum of Ancona. In 1219 Monte Roberto already was part of the County of Jesi, and remained under his protection and followed its vicissitudes. Jesi was under until its split in 1808.
